Australian Olympic swimmer, Mackenzie "Mack" Horton, has thanked an anonymous fan for pointing out a spacious mole on his upper torso.
Sources say someone emailed the swim team doctor during the 2016 Rio de Janeiro games explaining the 20-year-old swimmer should get the mole checked out. And, he did just that. It turned out the spot was cancerous and Horton had it removed immediately.
In a recent Instagram post, Horton wrote: "Shout out to the person that emailed the swim team doctor and told me to get my mole checked out. Good call. Very good call."
